Apricorn updates its Aegis Padlock with the new Aegis Padlock Pro hardware encrypted portable hard drive with eSATA and USB dual interface. The new secure drive is available in 250GB, 500GB and 640GB and there is the Aegis Padlock Pro SSD that is available in 128GB and 256GB.
Apricorn’s new drives feature real-time 256-bit AES encryption that seamlessly encrypts all data on the drive and there is a keypad for you to access the drive with your own unique pin. The Aegis Padlock Pro is compatible with eSATA / USB combo port as well as standard eSATA and USB ports. The drive has Extensive Shock Mounting, which protects your data with a 16-point omni-directional shock mounting system.
