Sony officially announced its new VAIO M series mini notebook PC, the latest addition to the company’s VAIO lineup. The first model to be released is the VAIO M11M1E that is powered by Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and integrated Intel GMA3150 graphics.
Sony’s VAIO M comes with a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with 1024×600 resolution, a MOTION EYE camera and a 250GB hard drive. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and gets built-in stereo speakers.
Sony’s new netbook measures 183 x 33 x 268 mm (D x H x W) and weighs 1.4kg with battery. To be released in March 2010, the VAIO M comes in black and white color options.
