Indian company Olive Telecom launches the Olive FrvrOn V-G2300, short for “forever on”, mobile phone that is dual powered by a rechargeable 600mAh lithium-ion battery and a AAA dry-cell battery.
The GSM-based FrvrOn is pretty basic getting a 1.5-inch display, FM tuner and speaker phone. With this dual-powered phone, you don’t have to bring addition battery anymore, just get AAA battery from convenient stores to extend the life of the phone. It is priced at Indian Rs 1699 (US$38).
