TriGem announced in the US its new Averatec N1200 series, which is the thinnest and lightest 10-inch netbook on the market. The N1200 is powered by Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor with Intel NM10 chipset and 1GB of RAM.
Priced at $329.99, the N1231EA1E-1S (Silver) and N1231EA1E-1B (Bronze) models both have 160GB hard drive and run Windows XP Home. The $349.99 Silver N1231EE1E-1 gets has 160GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter. The N1231FE1E-1S (Silver) and N1231FE1E-1 (Bronze), both priced at $379.99, instead sport 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 Starter.
All models have a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit display, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, and support for WiFi. The N1231FE1E-1S and N1231FE1E-1 include also Bluetooth and offer up to 6 hours of battery life.
