Wacom announced its newly-designed Cintiq 21UX interactive pen display for professional photographers, designers, artists and animators. The 21.3-inch color-accurate LCD display has 1600×900 resolution and offers 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Cintiq 21UX features Tip Sensor technology, offering users near-zero (one gram) starting pressure; two user-defined, four-function Touch Strip Toggle buttons which control the function of their associated Touch Strip, located on the back of the bezel; and eight customizable, application-specific ExpressKey located on each side of the display’s bezel. The 21UX can be rotated up to 180 degrees and its stand allows users to recline the pen display at any angle between 10 degrees and 65 degrees to match the users ideal working posture.
Wacom‘s Cintiq 21UX comes with Coreal Painter Sketch PAd, Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 WE6 and Wacom Brushes 3.0 software. It will be released in late March or early April and the price is $1999.
