Buffalo launches in Japan its new HD-PEU3-BK series portable hard drive that utilizes the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface, like the company’s DriveStation HD-HXU3. Based on 2.5-inch hard drive, Buffalo’s new offering is available in 500GB and 640GB capacities.
This USB 3.0 drive is also compatible with USB 2.0 connector. The 500GB HD-PE500U3-BK and 640GB HD-PE640U3-BK are priced at 16,800 Yen and 21,000 Yen respectively.
