SanDisk launches its new G3 Solid State Drive (SSD) that is availablei in 60GB or 1280GB storage capacities. The G3 SSD features the ExtremeFFS flash management system that accelerate random write performance and thus extend the endurance of SanDisk G3 SSDs. The 120GB model can endure up to 80 TB of data written.
SanDisk G3 offers up to 220MB/s read speed and 120MB/s write speed, allowing it to open files p to twice as fast as a 7,200RPM hard drive. It is Microsoft Windows 7 certified and supports the Windows 7 TRIM feature.
The SanDisk G3 60GB is priced at $229.99 while the 120GB G3 costs $399.99.
