HP is introducing at the PMA tradeshow five new digital cameras and three new camcorders. First of all, the HP CW450 is a point-and-shoot camera with 4x optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD display. It costs $99 and is available in black and red.. There is also the CW450t that is identical to the first model but gets a touch interface. The CW450t comes in blue and merlot and is priced at $109.
The HP PW460t getsa 4x optical zoom, 3-inch display and touch interface. It is available in pink and charcoal gray and priced at $149. Next is the slim HP SW450 with 4x zoom and 2.7-inch screen. It comes in turquoise or red and is priced at $129. The HP PW550z sports 5x optical zoom wide angle lens adn a 3-inch LCD display. Available in black or plum, the PW550z costs $149.
HP’s $199 V5061u and $169 V5560u digital camcorders both support Full HD 1080p video recording and features motion detection, 3-inch LCD display. The former features two SD/SDHC card slot and an option to install AA batteries if the lithium-ion battery is not charged while the latter has a 5x optical zoom lens. The HP V0120h is capable of 720p HD video recording. It is priced at $109.
