OpenPeak announced the new OpenTablet 7 portable multimedia tablet device. The tablet combines telephony with multimedia function. It features a 7-inch multiotuch display with LED-backlit, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. It has also cellular connectivity for making phone calls.
The OpenTablet 7 gets also dual cameras and HDMI output. There are built-in speaker and microphone as well as USB port and microSD card slot. The unit is based on Intel Moorestown platform (based on Atom) and runs the OpenPeak platform. It’s just 15mm thick. Wide selection of services and applications are pre-loaded and developers can create highly interactive applications using Adobe Flash CS4.
