Denon offers the S-5BD, a home entertainment device that combines an audiophile grade 5.1-channel Dual Zone A/V receiver with a Profile 2.0 Blu-ray player featuring BD Live connectivity.
The Denon S-5BD, as a receiver, features 2-source, 2-zone distribution capabilities, HDMI 1.4 with support of Audio Return Channel. It supports Dolby Pro Logic IIz, featuring Front Height Effects and Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio decoding. Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Audyssey Dynamic Volume are also included.
The S-5BD Blu-ray player is capable of Full HD 1080p/24p video output and 1080p upscaling for DVD video. It supports BD-Live via the Ethernet port and supports media playback from SD card and USB drive. Denon‘s new combo device will be available in March 2010 for $1799.
