Canon announced the PowerShot SX210 IS digital camera made to replace the SX200 IS. The new SX210 IS features a 28mm wide-angle lens with 14x Optical Zoom and 4-stop optical Image Stabilizer with Dynamic IS. It is equipped with a 14.1 Megapixel sensor and a 3-inch PureColor II G LCD.
The PowerShot SX210 IS features the DIGIC 4 image processor, ISO 80-1600, Smart Auto, Face Detection, Smart Flash Exposure, Servo AF/AE for ultra-fast response, and the i-Contrast technology that maximizes brightness gradation every time a shot is taken. This compact long-zoom camera is capable of 720p HD video recording and provides HDMI output.
Canon’s PowerShot SX210 IS supports SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards and is compatible with Eye-Fi card. It will be released in March for $349.99, in Purple, Gold and Black colors.
