A company called Alternative Product Solutions introduces the Electronic Key Impressioner, EKI, that makes locksmiths’ (or thieves’) life easier. The EKI has a scanning tip that is to be plugged into the car keyhole for scanning the position of the tumblers inside. You can then connect the device to a PC via USB and get the needed information for cloning a key after you provide the car’s model.
The Electronic Key Impressioner works only for Fords now.
