Ricoh announced the successor to the CX2, the CX3 compact digital camera, which is equipped with a 10 Megapixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and a 28mm wide angle lens with 10.7x optical zoom. It includes the noise reduction algorithm introduced on the GR DIGITAL III for better image quality.
The CX3 sports also the Smooth Imaging Engine IV that combines with the back-illuminated sensor to capture bright images in low light. It features ISO 80-3200, 1cm macro and the dynamic range double shot mode. The camera is able to record 1280x720p HD video.
Ricoh CX3 has a 3-inch LCD display and comes with 88MB internal memory and SD/SDHC card slot. It comes in three colors.
