Scosche introduces the solBAT II, a solar-powered portable backup battery and charger. The unit features built-in 1500mA lithium-ion battery for storing power and offers an output of 5V. The solBAT II provides USB output, which means it is able to recharge any USB devices including PMP, MP3 player, Blackberry, iPod, iPhone and PSP.
Other than charging from the sun, the solBAT II comes with a USB charging cable for rapidly charging from any computer or USB charger. It also includes a windshield cradle and universal carabiner mount. The Scosche solBAT II is priced at $29.99.
