Olympus launches the DM-4 and DM-2 digital audio devices for audio recording, editing and playback of podcasts, music, audio books and textbooks. Both devices have a 2.2-inch color display with user-friendly UI.
The DM-4 and DM-2 features built-in stereo microphones for audio recording, Voice Guidance and support playback of PCM, MP3, WMA audio files. The DM-4 includes also voice recognition and Text to Speech functions and it is a a DAISY Player certified by Daisy Consortium, which means that it can play digitally recorded material in the DAISY talking book format.
The DM-4 has 8GB and the DM-2 has 4GB internal memory and they support microSD/SDHC cards. These digital audio devices will be available in June for $299.99 and $249.99 respectively.
