Motorola launches its Backflip ME600 Android smartphone in the China market. The Backflip is one of the three Motorola’s Android devices to include the MOTOBLUR platform, joining the DEXT/CLIQ and MOTOROI.
The Backflip, as its name suggests, has a special form factor. It features a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1-inch 320×480 LCD touchscreen and a BACKTRACK touchpad on the back. It supports GPS navigation and WAPI/WiFi connectivity, as well as Bluetooth.
Motorola’s Backflip sports also CrystalTalk voice enhancement technology and offers a 3.5mm jack and a microSD card slot. It supports quad-band GSM and tri-band WCDMA/HSDPA networks. The price is 4298 Chinese Yuan (US$630).
