FujiFilm is going to release a new long zoom camera, the FinePix S2500HD with 18X optical zoom and 28mm wide angle. The camera supports 1280x720p HD video recording and features dual image stabilization and face detection. It has a 3-inch large LCD display. No words yet on availability and pricing.
FujiFilm is also preparing its S1730 and S1600 that have 15x optical zoom, and the JX530 with 5x zoom.
Update: The 18x zoom camera is now official and is called S2550HD.
