Juniper Systems introduces the new TK6000 ultra-rugged handheld computer running Windows Mobile 6.1. The device has a magnesium enclosure making it able to survive mutiple 1.5 meter drops to concrete. It has IP67 Sealed rating for waterproof and dustproof.
Boosted by Intel XScale PXA270 624MHz processor, the TK6000 has 128MB of RAM and 1GB internal storage. The ultra rugged TK6000 has a 3.5-inch 240×320 resistive touchscreen display, 52-key full alpha nad numeric keyboard and a microSD/SDHC card slot. It supports Bluetooth, WiFi and optional 2.5G GSM/EDGE connectivity. Other than mini USB port and USB HOST port, the handheld computer includes also two RS-232 serisal ports, There are two battery slots.
