Sony announced the new dash personal Internet viewer, an internet device compatible with chumby apps. The dash features a 7-inch touchscreen and supports WiFi connectivity. It offers free access to over 1000 apps from chumby and video content from Sony BRAVIA Internet videi platform.
Sony dash has accelerometer for vertical flip support and offers two optional viewing angles: upright, ideal for a table or nightstand; and tilted, perfect for a countertop. It has built-in stereo speakers and USB port for connecting other devices. The dash will be released in April for $199.
