ViewSonic introduces the MovieBook VPD550T portable media player that is capable of playback 1080p Full HD video files. The VPD550T features a 5-inch 800×480 LCD touchscreen and 8GB internal memory.
The MovieBook VPD550T supports most media formats including RM/RMVB, MP4, MKV, OGG, FLAC, DTS..etc. It does also image viewing and voice recording. The player has a microSD card slot, HDMI out and USB OTG support. It costs just $199.
ViewSonic announced also the VPD422T which is basically 4.3-inch version of the VPD550T. It also does 1080p playback and sports 8GB storage, OTG USB support and microSD card slot. It is priced at $189.99.
ViewSonic will also release the VPD513T with 720p playback, 8GB storage and a 5-inch touchscreen display and the 4-inch VPD403 with 4GB built-in memory.
