Yamaha is going to release later this month the YSP-5100 and YSP-4100 digital sound projectors in the US market. Both YSP-5100 and YSP-4100 feature 40 beam drivers and two woofers, each with dedicated amplifiers, and the former gets also two tweeters with dedicated amplifiers.
The YSP-4100 and YSP-5100 supports HD Audio decoding for Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS HD High Resolution audio codecs. They include the UniVolume technology, integrated FM tuner, and the yAired technology allows users to wirelessly play audio from iPods and iPhones. They are also fully Sirius Satellite Radio ready.
The Yamaha YSP-5100 is available for $1,999.95 while the Yamaha YSP-4100 for $1,699.95.
