Jinke, a company based in Tianjin, China, introduces its A6 series and A9 series e-book reading devices at the CES 2010. Both models are boosted by a Samsung 400MHz ARM9 processor 128MB RAM and get 2GB Flash memory.
Instead of e-ink display, these readers utilize SiPix panels. The A6 Series has a 6-inch 600×800 display while the A9 Series gets a larger 9-inch 768×1024 display, both with capacitive touchscreen and multitouch. Jinke’s reders has a SD/SDHC/MMC card slot and supports WiFi 802.11b/g. EV-DO, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA 3G are also available as option.
Each series has two models, the A6k and A9k with QWERTY keyboard and the A6t and A9t without.
