Audiovox launches its first e-book reader, the Lexi under the RCA brand. Audiovox’s Lexi e-book reader feature a 6-inch 800×600 e-ink display with 16-level gray scale, 2GB of internal storage, a rechargeable battery that delivers 7,000 page turns.
The Lexi is able to access e-content delivered through Barnes & Noble for e-books, magazines and newspapers. The device includes ezTurn functionality for either left or right handed page turning and has Auto-Magic content synchronization, which simplifies the loading of the device and eliminates the need to drag and drop files.
To be released in May 2010, the Audiovox RCA Lexi will be priced at $229.99.
