Alongside the new stand alone players, Sony brings also the BDV-HZ970W, BDV-E770W, and BDV-E570 Blu-ray home theater systems. Like the new players, these system are internet connected and are able to stream media content from BRAVIA Internet Video platform and BD-LIVE.
The BDV-HZ970W is a Blu-ray 3D capable home theater with 5.1-channel and 1000 watt output. It includes the S-AIR Technology for transmitting audio to the included wireless rear channel surround speakers. It includes the IP Content Noise Reduction technology. The BDV-E770W is a 1000 watt, 5.1 channel Blu-ray system with S-AIR wireless rear speakers and the BDV-E570 is also a 5.1-channel system.
All these Blu-ray systems come with USB wireless LAN adapter (802.11) for WiFi connectivity. They feature Precision Cinema HD Upscaling, Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio decoding, and media playback via USB and DLNA.
Also introduced is the HT-SS370 5.1 channel home theater audio system with Blu-ray Disc player matching design. It offers 1000 watt output and is S-AIR ready.
