Skiff is going to preview at the CES 2010 the Skiff Reader, a 11.5-inch e-book reader optimized for newspaper and magazine content. The device has the largest e-paper display with highest resolution and is the thinnest e-reading device.
Skiff Reader’s 11.5-inch screen has a resolution of 1200×1600 and is based on rugged stainless-steel foil e-Paper display. The display supports both finger and stylus operation and is shatter-proof, crack-proof.
Skiff’s e-Reader supports both Sprint’s EVDO 3G and WiFi, allowing access to the Skiff service and digital store for purchasing and accessing newspapers, magazines, books, blogs and other content from multiple publishers. The reader has 4GB internal memory and supports SDHC memory cards. It has built-in speaker and a 3.5mm jack.
