Intel officially announced its newest Atom platform, codenamed Pine Trail, which includes the new Intel Atom processors and the low-power Intel NM10 Express chipset. New processors include the Atom N450 for netbooks and portable devices and the Atom D410 and dual core D510 for entry-level desktop PCs.
All these new Atoms are built on the company’s 45nm high-k metal gate manufacturing process and remain Intel’s smallest chip.
- Atom N450 – single core processor for netbook, 512k of L2 cache, a 7 watt total kit TDP including chipset
- Atom D410 – single-core processor for entry-level desktop PCs, 512k of L2 cache,a 12-watt total kit TDP including chipset
- Atom D510 – dual core processor entry-level desktop PCs, with 1MB L2 cache, a 15-watt total kit TDP including chipset
