Electrolux has a concept of of vacuum called the Silence Amplified that includes built-in iPod dock and speakers. The company has even done a lab study on “music assisted vacuum cleaning and effects on cleaning performance. It turns out music assisted vacuuming does improve cleaning experience and hence cleaning performance and different music style may affect performance in different way.
We are not sure will Electrolux really commericilize this iPod vacuum but it sound funny. You can see the lab study here.
