Sanyo announced the Air Washer Plus home-use air purification system. The system is the first of its kind in the US to utilizes the electrolyzed water technology to treat the air to suppress airborne pathogens such as bacteria and germs, to reduce the amount of airborne pollen and allergy-causing dust, and to eliminate unpleasant odors in the home.
Sanyo’s Air Washer Plus includes also the 4-stage True HEPA filtration system that removes 99.97% of airborne particles and allergens, working together with the electrolyzed water to effectively neutralize odors and eliminate the particles that cause allergies. A 3-directional air distribution system is also used to maximize the flow of air.
