Palm’s Pixi is the company’s second webOS-based smartphone after the Pre. The Pixi has a bar-type form factor and includes QWERTY keyboard. It has a 2.63-inch multitouch LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 8GB internal memory, GPS support and Bluetooth. It is now available from Amazon for just $24.99 and, of course, you need to get also a new Sprint service contract.
The Palm Pixi supports dual band CDMA and EVDO Rev.A 3G networks but lack WiFi support. It includes the Palm Synergy integrattion with Facebook, Google and other web services. It’s media player supports H.264/H.263, MPEG4 and common music files. The handset offers access to Amazon MP3 Store as well.
