Lite-On launches the eHAU424-08 24X DVD burner in the US, which is similar to the Europe-bound eHAU324. The eHAU424-08 uses USB 2.0 interface and has 2MB buffer memory. It writes DVD+/-R at up to 24X, DVD+/-R DL at 12X, DVD+RW at 8X, DVD-RW at 6X, DVD-RAM at 12X and CD-R/RW at up to 48X.
Lite-On’s new writer supports both 8cm and 12cm CD and DVD discs. It includes Smart-Burner for Buffer Under Run protection, SmartErase for better data erase, ABS system to reduce vibration and noise and LightScribe for direct disc labeling.
The Lite-On eHAU424-08 is available for $54.99.
