Asus officially announced its TS Mini Server, a NAS device designed for modern home and small office users for data exchange between multiple computers, auto backup and cloud storage.
The Asus TS Mini is boosted by Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz processor and up to 2GB of memory, and it runs Windows Home Server OS. The TS mini can automatically back up data from up to 10 computers daily. With six USB and two eSATA ports, the TS mini lets users directly back up, synchronize, and manage their files across various USB and eSATA devices and the internal hard disk drive. It includes the Remote Access function that allows users outside the local network to access TS mini using their personal Windows Live account.
The TS Mini is available in 500GB and 2TB capacities that cost $349 and $529 respectively.
