Acer lists its Aspire 1420P tablet PC to its US site that suggests an upcoming US launch of the device. The 1420P gets a 11.6-inch multitouch LCD display that supports finger touch and pen input, like the company’s Aspire AS5738PG. The screen can be configured with 1366×768 or 1024×600 resolution. Windows 7 will be pre-installed to utilizes the multitouch capability.
The Aspire 1420P is powered by Intel’s Celeron processor, integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics and up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM. There is a 250GB/320GB hard drive and a multi-in-one memory card reader. The tablet PC packs also an Acer Crystal Eye webcam, WiFi 802.11b/g/n support, optional Bluetooth, optional UMTS/HSPA/GSM/EDGE 3G/3.5G WWAN module and dual speakers with 2nd Generation Dolby Sound Room 4 audio enhancement. HDMI video output is offered.
The Acer Aspire 1420P will come in Diamond black, Sapphire blue and Ruby red. No words yet on availability and pricing.
