Apple launches its new iMac all-in-one desktop, which comes with 21.5-inch and 27-inch LED-backlit widescreen display in a new edge-to-edge glass design. The new iMac (October 2009) has a seamless all aluminum enclosure and comes with wireless keyboard and the new Magic Mouse.
The new iMac line starts at $1199. It is powered by Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz and Core i5 and Core i7 are also available as options. The 21.5-inch model features 1920x1080p Full HD display while the 27-inch offers 2560×1440 resolution. Both displays are based on IPS LCD panel.
