Newsmy (Newman) launches in China the A16HD portable media player that is capable of 1080i HD video output via HDMI connection. The A16HD has a 5-inch LTPS LCD touchscreen dispay with 800×480 resolution, 8GB or 16GB internal memory, image viewer and text reader and a microSD card slot.
The Newsmy A16HD supports most media formats:
- Video: RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG, DAT, MKV
- Audio: MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, APE, FLAC
- Image: JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF
The 8GB A16HD is priced at 699 Chinese Yuan (us$103) and the 16GB at 799 Chinese Yuan (US$118).
