In addition to the GT640, MSI introduces the larger 17-inch GT740 Core i7 notebook PC. Like the GT640, the GT740 gets an ultra-thin aluminum alloy frame with brushed metal accents. It packs Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTS250M graphics card with 1GB video RAM.
The MSI GT740 has a 17-inch LCD display. It shares many of the features with the GT640 including 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray drive, 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, 2 Megapixel webcam eSATA port, and HDMI port. The GT740 includes 4 Speakers and a Subwoofer Hi-Fi speaker system with SRS Premium Sound, making the laptop a ideal multimedia/gaming device.
