Canon introduces two new models to its REALiS multimedia LCOS projector line, the WUX10 Mark II and SX80 Mark II. Both of them include a a new Photo Image Mode allowing for advanced color management and adjustments for ambient lighting conditions, which is ideal for professionals with the most discerning image quality needs.
The Canon REALiS WUX10 Mark II features WUXGA 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 3200 lumens brightness, while the REALiS SX80 Mark II has SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution and 3000 lumens brightness. These projectors include Canon 1.5x powered Zoom/Focus lens, 10:1 lens offset and Ethernet LAN port for network connectivity. They both provide HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs.
Canon’s new REALiS projector is based on LCOS technology with AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) Optical Engine that further enhances the image quality by maximizing the performance of the LCOS panels and equalizing light from the projection lamp, delivering high brightness and deep contrast.
Canon’s REALiS WUX10 Mark II and SX80 Mark II are priced at $12,999 and $3,999 respectively. Canon launches also the REALiS WUX10 Mark II D and REALiS SX80 Mark II D, which feature a new DICOM Simulation image mode setting for calibrating to the DICOM14 standard.
