QNAP introduces the NMP-1000, a networked HD media player. The device has a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive bay for up to 2TB hard drive. It has a Ethernet LAN port for connecting to your home network, and a HDMI for connecting to HDTV.
The QNAP NMP-1000 supports a wide range of media formats as listed below and offers Full HD 1920x1080p output. It is able to browser photo from Flickr or video from YouTube. The HD player is DLNA compliant and comes with built-in BitTorrent download engine. The NMP-1000 has two USB HOST port for storage expansion as well as aUSB and an eSATA for you to plug the player to your PC and use it as a storage device.
The QNAP NMP-1000 provides also Composite, component, S-video output.
