It looks like HTC is going to release in Europe the new HD2 Leo smartphone in October, in UK on 12 October and in late October in Netherlands. The HD2 Leo is set to replace the Touch HD. It is a Windows Mobile 6.5-based smartphone running on a 1GHz processor.
The Leo gets a large 4.3-inch 800×480 capacitive LCD touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and support for WCDMA/HSPA network. The phone will include the TouchFLO 3D UI (demo video below). Though the HD2 has a multitouch screen, It is said that the multitouch function won’t work on the Pocket Internet Explorer. The pricing of the Leo will be around Euro 550-600.
