Buffalo BR-X816U2 External 8X Blu-ray Writer

Buffalo introduces the BR-X816U2 USB external Blu-ray writer. The device supports burning BD, DVD as well as CD media. It has 4MB cache memory.

Buffalo BR-X816U2 writes BD-R single layer and dual layer at up to 8X, BD-RW at 2X, and DVD+/-R at 16X. DVD-RAM and CD-R are bruner at 8X and 48X respectively. The burner is bundled with a bunch of CyberLink application for Blu-ray video discs authoring and Blu-ray buring. It will be available in late-September for 24200 Yen.
