Epson launches in the US the new PowerLite 1716 mobile projector based on the 3LCD display technology. Instead of VGA or DVI, the PowerLite 1716 is able to project images from a Windows PC via USB connection.
The sub-four pound PowerLite 1716 features XGA resolution, 2700 lumens brightness and the E-TORL lamp technology that offers up to 4000 hours of use in economy mode. The projector can also projecor images from USB flash drive, without the need of a PC. It can produce 60-inch image from a distance of 4 feet.
Epson PowerLite 1716 has a black design and will be available in October 2009.
