Sony introduces in Japan the new BRAVIA ZX5 series wireless LCD HDTV with LED-backligting. Two models are available, the 52-inch KDL-52ZX5 and the 46-inch KDL-46ZX5. They utilize the edge-lit LED backlighting technology.
These HDTVs features 1920x1080p Full HD resolution, Motionflow 240Hz refresh rate, BRAVIA Engine 3 image procesor and integrated HDTV tuner. The ZX5 will come with a wireless media box for connecting external video sources and wireless HD streaming, like LG’s LHX and LH85. They have built-in 10Wx2 speakers. There are four HDMI inputs, S-video, Composite, D-sub as well as Ethernet LAN port.
Sony will release the BRAVIA ZX5 on 20 November.
