Mitsubishi presents the new HC3800 Full HD 1080p projector that is based on the DLP technology and features the new digital micromirror device (DMD) providing smooth, true reproduction into finely detailed images with no noise or deterioration.
Mitsubishi HC3800 offers 1920x1080p native resolution and 1920×1200 max resolution, 4000:1 contrast ratio and 1300 lumens brightness. It includes six-segment color wheel and the BrilliantColor technology. The HD projector has a 1.5x HD zoom lens and lens throw ratio of 1.52 – 2.26. It can produce image size ranging from 50-inch to 300-inch and offers up to 5000 hours of lamp life.
In addition to D-sub, S-video, RCA inputs, Mitsubishi HC3800 has also HDMI port and a RS232C connector. It will be available later this year for about $1395.
