Garmin announced the GPS 72H Marine Handheld GPS device that is made for boaters. The GPS 72H features high-sensitivity GPS receiver and a fast USB interface for ransfering waypoints, tracks, and routes. The device meets the IPX7 standards for water resistance. It comes with built-in celestial data, including tide tables, sunrise/sunset times, and a fishing and hunting almanac.
The Garmin GPS 72H stores up to 500 waypoints and 50 routes. It will be available in October 2009 for $149.99.
