Verizon and Samsung announced the launch of two new messaging mobile phones, the Samsung Rogue SCH-U960 (aka Glyde 2) and Samsung Intensity SCH-U450. Both phones come with a slide-out four-row QWERTY keyboard.

The flagship Samsung Rogue features a 3.2-inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera with flash and on-device editing, media player and Full HTML web browser. The phone runs TouchWiz UI and offers one-touch access to popular social networking widgets, including Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube and Photobucket and is compatible with V CAST Video on Demand and V CAST Music. It is available in bronze/black color.

The Rogue support VZ Navigator service and microSD cards up to 16GB. It also comes with pre-loaded games including “NEED FOR SPEEDTM Undercover,” “Resident Evil: Degeneration,” and “Tetris and Dice” and a file viewer.  Samsung Rogue is priced at $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
