European company Handheld Group introduces the new Nautiz X7 rugged PDA which is the direct successor of the Nautiz X5, skipping X6. The X7 comes with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistant. As it meets MIL-STD 810G standard, the X7 can withstand repeated drops, vibration and operating temperatures from -30 C to 60 C.
The Nautiz X7 is powered by Marvell PXA310 806MHz processor, 128MB RAM and has 4GB flash memory. It has a 3.5-inch 480×640 LCD touchscreen, numeric keypad with backlighting, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi, a 3 Megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus and integrated SiRF Star III GPS chipset. The handheld comes with integrated E-Compass, G-sensoe, and Altimer.
The X7 includes a SDIO slot and a 9-pin serial RS-232 connector. Users can get also RFID scanner and Barcode scanner. It supports HSDPA/EDGE networks and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro.
