NEC adds to its NP Value series two new projectors, the NP110 and the NP215 both based on Texas Instruments DLP engine. The former has a 800×600 SVGA resolution and 1024 x 768 XGA resolution.
Both NP110 and NP215 are “Green” projectors with ECO Mode technology is able to extend lamp life up to 5000 hours and lower power consumption. They feature 2000:1 contrast ratio, up to 2500 lumens brightness, BrilliantColor technology, which increases system brightness and color saturation, built-in wall color correction presets and a filter-free design. The NP215 includes also integrated RJ45 Ethernet LAN port.
To be released in October 2009, NEC NP110 and NP215 are priced at $459 and $599 respectively.
