Sony Ericsson announced that it will launch in November 2009 a new simple, stylish mobile phone called the XPERIA Pureness, codenamed Kiki. The phone brings together beautiful craftsmanship and the concept of “talk, text, time – a holiday from technology”.
While LG’s GD900 Crystal has a transparent touchpad, the Pureness will have a transparent screen. The XPERIA Pureness will be aligned under the Sony’s make.believe brand message. The “Xperia Pureness approaches the mobile phone as a work of art rather than technology. The company’s designers aimed to sculpt an object of design that reflected the purity of water and a sense of calmness when not in use”.
