Panasonic unveiled its new PT-AE4000 1080p HD projector at the IFA 2009, which is a follow-up to the PT-AE3000. Based on 3LCD display technology, the Panasonic PT-AE4000 features 1920x1080p Full HD resolution, 1600 ANSI lumens brightness, 80,000:1 contrast ratop and Panasonic’s Lens Memory technology that offers a true 2.35:1 aspect cinema experience.
The PT-AE4000 provides three HDMI 1.3 inputs, dual component video inputs, composite video, S-Video, D-sub PC input, a serial port and an RS-232 input. To be available in late October, the Full HD projector will be priced at about GBP2000.
