Finally, Nokia officially announced at the Nokia World its N97 mini QWERTY phone, which is a compact variation of the N97 device. The N97 mini comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and tilting touchscreen display.
Nokia’s N97 mini packs a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens; autofocus and flash , built-in GPS/A-GPS support with Nokia’s Ovi Maps, 8GB internal memory and support for RealVideo and Flash Lite playback and media player. It’s 3.2-inch touchscreen has 640×360 resolution and 16 million colors. As a phone for active social networker, the N97 mini includes the Lifecasting with Ovi feature and offers easy access to Facebook, Flickr and other sharing sites.
Nokia N97 mini supports HSDPA, WCDMA, GPRS/EDGE networks as well as Bluetooth and WiFi. It has microUSB connector and a 3.5mm connector. The N97 mini will be released next month and the price is about Euro 450. Also announced at the Nokia World are the Nokia X6 and Nokia X3.
