Onkyo presents the TX-NA5007 and TX-NA1007 that are probably the first AV receivers to be compatible with the upcoming Windows 7 operating system.
The 9.1-channel Onkyo TX-NA5007 and TX-NA1007 offer 280W and 230W maximum output respectively. They support Dolby NR Professional Logic IIz, Dolby NR TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, Audyssey Dynamic Surround Expansion and meets the THX Ultra 2 Plus standard. HQV video output is provided.
Thanks to the Windows 7 compatibility, when Onkyo’s new receivers can be integrated with Win7 PC/laptop for music playback at 24bit/96kHz. Formats supported include WAV, WMA, WMA Lossless, MP3, AAC, FLAC, OGG, and LPCM. The TX-NA5007 has eight HDMI inputs and the TX-NA1007 gets six.
